Linde plants supply H2 with a purity of up to 99.9999% vol. with capacities ranging from 1,000 Nm³/h to 200,000 Nm³/h. H2 is utilized in many hydrogenation processes, in the production of fertilizers, fuels and peroxide products, and as an energy carrier.
Linde has decades of experience in hydrogen, and has built more than 200 H2 plants.
Linde's expertise and options in hydrogen production comprise:
- The complete hydrogen generation process - manufacture, recovery, purification, storage, liquefaction and transportation
- The full range of hydrocarbon feedstock options from natural gas to heavy oil and coal.
- Full project execution capabilities from conceptual design through start-up and commissioning and product life-cycle services.
Hydrogen (H2) is produced in ways a number of ways including via steam reforming, partial oxidation of hydrocarbons followed by the CO shift and hydrogen purification, or by the purification of refinery purge gases.
