Galveston, Texas October 10, 2017 – Linde Engineering North America Inc. (LENA) announced that it will make two presentations at the AIChE Southwest Process Technologies Conference, to be held October 12-13. The program highlights core chemical process engineering topics and emerging disciplines.
LENA process engineers will share their expertise at the conference on October 12. Rameshwar Hiwale will present “The Linde Ammonia Concept (LAC™): Simplifying NH3 Production for Improved Economic Feasibility”. Compared to conventional ammonia production processes, LAC has fewer catalytic steps, reduced numbers of control loops and instruments, less equipment and piping.
“The Effect of Errors in Relative Volatility, Enthalpy, Density and Surface Tension on Distillation Column Design” will be presented by Hazem Haddad. He will show how these errors impact the number of stages, reflux ratio and column traffic, an area often overlooked.
Linde’s broad range of process plant technologies and capabilities will be showcased at booth #8 during the exhibit. Serving many industries including refining, petrochemical and gas processing, Linde Engineering has delivered over 4,000 plants worldwide.
